Our language trip to an English speaking country took us ( that is classes 5AB and three accompanying teachers) to the famous university town of Cambridge.
On the 13th of June at about 2 a.m. (!!!!!) we arrived in Cambridge. After we had been picked up by our host families, 5AB’s  England-story started.
On the first day, Mark, our „tourist-guide“, ...

... showed us the surrounding area,  our classrooms (in a Methodist Church), the parks and most important: the shopping streets.
On Sunday we went to London to do some sight-seeing. We visited Tower Bridge, Madame Tussaud’s  and had a great chilling time in Hyde Park. Walking along the River Thames towards London Eye, we saw a lot of street artists, among others a man who pretended to be Mr Bean.
We spent the following days working on our projects. The „schooldays“ were divided into class work (in which we were taught how to give presentations) and field work (which meant interviewing people in the street).  On the last day we made our well-prepared presentations.
Our freetime activities consisted of Bowling and Punting (organised by the teachers) and lots of other things young people like to do (shopping in the first place or just having fun).
In our opinion the journey was a pretty awesome adventure, which we will never forget. We will always look back at it with great joy.
